Kernersville Elementary School Administration

kernersville elementary school staffKernersville Elementary has a principal, Ms. Carter, a full-time Assistant Principal, Mrs. Grace, and a brand new half-time Assistant Principal, Mrs. Manring.  Mrs. Manring will be full-time in the WSFCS system but will split her time between Kernersville Elementary and Walkertown Elementary.  Mrs. Manring is not unfamiliar with our school as she has spent the last couple of years as a Case Manager for Exceptional Children and had responsibility for several schools, including KES.  We welcome her to KES in her new capacity!

Also included under the administrative umbrella are Mrs. Brinker, Curriculum Coordinator, and Mrs. Gates, Literacy Facilitator.

Kernersville Elementary School is a great school! I love all my teachers and every last one of them made an impact on my life. I attended KES from 1987-1993 and I was able to meet many friends along the way. I will always remember the love I got from the teachers and staff. The students, parents, teachers, and staff that are currently at KES now in 2011, I would like to say you are so lucky to be part of a rich legacy. Over the years I went on to Atkins Middle School, East Forsyth High School, UNC-Charlotte, taught school from 2005-2010, and now currently a graduate student at The Howard University where I will receive my Masters of Arts in Public Administration with a concentration in education policy. I will like to take a moment to give thanks to Ms. McIntyre, Mr. Richardson, Mr. Fitzpatrick, Ms. Bigham, Mrs. Hicks, Mrs. Jerrel, Mrs. Matthews, Mrs. Derby, Mrs. Gibson, Mrs. Hucks, Mrs. Shelton, Mrs. Harris, Ms. Hossfield (Griffin), and Mrs. Miller. I love you all….Thank you sooooooo much.
